Diana Lipsig, Esq.

Ms. Lipsig is the founder of  Lipsig Law, PLLC with a practice that focuses on New York City cooperative and condominium law.  Ms. Lipsig has practiced real estate law for over 16 years and has built a reputation for excellence in the facilitation of Real Estate transactions and assists her clients throughout the entire process.  From the initial review of the sales contract Ms. Lipsig works to resolve obstacles to a successful closing.  She works closely with a number of lenders and has been successful in overcoming obstacles relating to the loan process. Ms. Lipsig counsels clients in all areas of real estate law including commercial buildings, restaurant and store lease negotiation, title disputes, condominium developers, builders, apartment buildings, cooperative apartments, condominiums as well as single family homes. Her clientele spans the New York City area as well as Westchester, Nassau and Suffolk counties. Ms. Lipsig is committed to personal attention to her clients real estate needs whether they are a first time home buyer or an experienced investor.  Ms. Lipsig has lectured extensively to investors and first time home buyers.

Diana Lipsig received her Juris Doctor from the New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts. While at NESL, she received academic distinction and was named to the Dean’s List. During her legal studies, Ms. Lipsig was Junior Associate Counsel in the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General. Ms. Lipsig received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont. During her studies at UVM, Ms. Lipsig was awarded a political internship with Mr. David Alton MP, Chief Liberal Whip of the British Parliament, London, England. In 1991 Ms. Lipsig served as Law Clerk for the Honorable Martin Schoenfeld, Justice of the Supreme Court, State of New York, where she assisted in the drafting of the court’s opinions. Ms. Lipsig is a member of the bar of the State of New York.
